Solution? Simple: Put a computer in it!
Now some boring old fools have come to me with such suggestions like "go out and buy one". Huh! What, and have some tidy, compact, LCD screen sitting in plain view for any old car-theif to nick? No way! Besides, where's the room for expansion? How many systems out there allow for 80+ GB of storage, in-car navigation, security - telephoning your mobile phone when the car gets stolen or broken in to. Maybe even voice recognition using active noise cancellation. No, the only way this will ever be achieved is with some decent processing power. We need a computer.
