Moooo! 15-Nov-2003 10:37pm Once the instructor has the parachute ready and says "go!", I take two steps and suddenly we're up in the air. Really peaceful and fun - not at all scary. Awesome! |

Betty flying 15-Nov-2003 10:45pm Well, aparently I ate too much for breakfast, so we fell like a brick. The whole flight must have been less than 15 minutes. Well, at least I had a chance to snap some shots of betty flying from the bottom of the hill -- Er... Can you spot her? :-) |

IMG_1885 15-Nov-2003 11:14pm And this is where we jumped from - you can't see the cliff, but over where the lady is is where we jumped from. Just enough room to lay the parachute out and take about 6 steps forward and then there's the cliff - you want to get that launch right! |

That's some balance 21-Nov-2003 4:13am Playing with the two cameras. The digital here has a small appature. By comparison, using Betty's camera and a large appature, the wire blurs right out to nothing - you can't even see it. |

My stereo in Pete's Beema 26-Nov-2003 3:16am My little baby. Look's can be decieving - that's a kick ass stereo you're looking at. No it doesn't have a screen, it doesn't need one! Tasteful beeps and speech synthesiser give you all the feedback you need (if you're a geek like me, that is). Nice one Pete! I'm impressed. Not only did you get it running, you made it look great! |
