Then after eating dinner in La Ramblas, we came outside to discover a large Easter parade. Jesus told me there would be festivals to attend in the small villages - so we had already found one, and were planning to go to it later that evening. So it was a pleasant surprise to catch a second festival by accident.
(NB: Jesus is a work collegue. It's a spanish name, where J is prononced like a hard 'H')

This was the parade we'd PLANNED to go to, in the small touristy village of "Sitges", where we were staying. It's lucky we'd taken Jesus's advice to try and find this, as the "helpful" people at our hotel simply told us "no, we don't think there's anything special happening here for Easter".
