Shopping run 13-Jan-2004 1:09pm Well that's one thing to do when it's snowing too hard to ski. Go shopping! We're at the top of the lower chairlifts (left half of photo) about to board back down the valley (background of photo) to save us some walking through the village with groceries (the village isn't actually in this photo - not that you can tell, just take my word). BTW, snow blades are NOT good in powder... as I was about to find out. |

Final day 16-Jan-2004 10:46am And it was a beauty. We'd all had a good rest after 1 day snowed off the mountain. The chairs are coming up over a black piste run - nicely groomed for skiers on the left, left as powder for borders on the right. |
